QUESTION:
I notice several time of "hotsite": what's is this? Could u provide a link, please?
ANSWER:
A "Hotsite" is a stand-alone site that you can install on any web server that uses the API to provide an alternative interface to the StickyStreet platform. There are currently two versions: One for customers and one for clerks. Neither requires databases. You only need FTP access to a web server.
The one for customers provides a log-in based interface that allows for card registration, online enrollment, balances, transaction history, reward redemption, and info updating. As the admin, you can customize which campaigns to show, edit all text on site, choose which menu items to show, and which email is used for redemption requests.
The one for clerks allows clerks to log-in, look-up customers based on their card #, transact, redeem, view customer info, and update customer details.
Both are available on GitHub (http://www.github.com) -- Just send me your GitHub username for me to add you to the access list. Alternatively, I can send the files in a ZIP archive -- but you won't get any updates nor be able to merge any updates to your installation.
NOTE: These are not products for anyone -- They are meant as starting points or demos for a custom API interface for programmers to refer to or use. They are open-source, and they are perfectly usable as-is BUT we do not provide support or maintenance, nor more than basic help in installation.
