Why is the free plan free?
For several reasons. One is to let you try it without any obligations. Another is to let you make sure it's working the way you want before you roll it out to your customers. Yet another reason is that there are some situations for which we don't want to charge our clients to use it: like entrepreneurs just starting out, teachers implementing positive behavior reinforcement strategies (you know, good behavior points) or parents using StickyStreet to keep track of their kid's allowance.

Do I need to choose a plan?
You do not need to choose a plan. StickyStreet will automatically move you from plan to plan as your needs grow. Once you hit 11 cards, for example StickyStreet will move you to the first paid plan which is only $9.95 a month (as of Sept 1, 2008.)  As your customer base grows, StickyStreet will simply upgrade your account to the next billing level which you will see on your monthly statement.  You can see the current pricing table at: http://www.stickystreet.com/pricing

How long does my Free Account Last?
As long as you maintain just 10 or less customers / accounts / people in the system. Teachers need to contact us with proof of employment at a public, not-for-profit educational facility to go beyond the 10 account limit.

How do I pay for StickyStreet?
You only pay once you have graduated to the first paid plan ( more than 10 customers managed in StickyStreet). When that happens, you will receive an email invoice which allows you to pay online and set-up automatic payments if you so choose. StickyStreet uses FreshBooks, another innovative web 2.0 service to manage our invoicing and billing, so we can concentrate on what we do best: Make the best online gift and loyalty tracking and management tool.

Can I have my bill paid automatically each month?
Yes. Once you receive your first invoice just choose the option to have your payment paid each month using the same credit card number. You'll still get an invoice, except it will just note your account is Paid.

Can I pay by company check?
If you prefer to receive invoices and pay by check, we will be happy to accomodate you. There is a service charge of $2.00 per month for a paper invoice. You can mail your payment to our corporate address found on the contact page.

Are there any transaction fees for StickyStreet?
No. You pay for just what you use, there are no extra fees. Just your monthly plan.

That is correct.  This article was written when StickyStreet was providing loyalty services directly to businesses.  We have since changed our business model, to be able to grow internationally, to one where we white-label our loyalty product to agencies who then provide local support to businesses in their area and their language.  The pricing page for businesses is no longer applicable.
